Therapy

In response to the increasing needs associated to the mental health crisis, Valley Med Urgent Care is now offering psychiatric services facilitating easy access to care. Under one roof medical and psychiatric services are now available.

If you are struggling with ongoing depression, have anxiety and/ or panic attacks, if you have experienced psychosis, insomnia, irritability, difficulty concentrating and performing at work. If you are looking for help with addictive behaviors or missed and appointment and need a partial refill until you get to see your psychiatrist, you do not need a referral or need to wait weeks or months to get treatment.

If your child or adolescent is having behavioral issues, difficulty concentrating, depression, social or separation anxiety, if they are verbalizing negative thoughts or are cutting and you are in urgent need of answers, you do not have to wait.

At Valley Med we can provide care to match your or your loved one’s appropriate needs, whether you need hospitalization for stabilization, urgent medication management, crisis intervention, or full assessment, ongoing monitoring, and treatment, we can provide a plan of action. Whether you need a referral for psychotherapy or other healthcare providers, we can coordinate services.

Psychiatric care would be delivered by Deborah Woloski, an experienced certified Psychiatric Physician Assistant that has been serving our community for over 25 years under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist.

We accept walk-in appointments for children, adolescents, and adults in our McAllen and Brownsville locations.
